Gavin was open enough to share some of the mistakes he made on his entrepreneurial path. In 2010, he merged his first business, aiming to accelerate his progress. Unfortunately, this partnership only endured for 18 months, costing himself years of hard work. Gavin believes that although this was hard to swallow at the time, it ultimately played a crucial role in the success of The Silver X Group, reinforcing his belief that everything happens for a reason.
Finding Inspiration:
When asked about where he found inspiration, Gavin shared that he had always had something inside of him, driving him from an early age. This is shown in the foundation of “The Burgess Car Washing Company” when he was 13, creating business cards, and door knocking around his local estate to drive business. This glimpse into Gavin’s early entrepreneurial career reflects his innate inclination for business and a strong work ethic, which he attributes to his mother.
